40 YEARS
in Business
Our Story
In 1986, Grandfather Elmer began welding stall front grills and doors in a one-room shop on his farm. His craftsmanship quickly gained local attention. In 1996, his son-in-law, Jake, left his career of milking cows to join the business full-time, marking a pivotal moment in its growth.
By 2007, Elmer retired and sold the business to Jake, who renamed it J&E Grill Manufacturing. Two years later, the company expanded its product line to include aluminum barn doors and windows.
In 2014, a new shop was built, doubling the manufacturing space to meet growing demand. The legacy continued in 2022 when Jake’s sons – David, Daniel, and Alvin – joined the ownership team.
In 2026, we moved off the home farm where it all began, and settled into our new facility in the local industrial park. With more space and a larger team, we are excited to continue serving you!
