mudX stabilization grids are an excellent solution for controlling mud and runoff in high-traffic areas. Start by creating a solid base with 6” of 3/4” stone, topped with 2” of stone dust. Then, install the stabilization grids and fill them with pea gravel. This setup ensures that water drains properly, preventing muddy patches from forming.

Once installed, we recommend that a bedding layer be added on top of the grid and fill layer to allow for the horses to be comfortable.
