Dutch Barn Doors with a Lasting Finish
Powder coated to meet the color needs of your building, our finish will last for years to come, and it’s easy to clean by pressure washing. Our custom Dutch stable doors resist corrosion, chalking, cracking, and peeling. To top it all off, we prep for a powder coat by applying a durable zinc primer, which gives these doors a little extra allure!

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I Choose the Right Size for My Barn Doors?
Our standard Dutch doors are designed to fit 4’x7’ or 4’x8’ openings, but we can manufacture custom sizes if needed. As with carriage doors, we recommend ordering doors that are 1/2 inch smaller than the rough opening to ensure a good fit.
What are the Benefits of Using Dutch Doors in a Horse Barn?
Dutch doors are great for providing ventilation and natural light while maintaining the safety and security of your horses. They also enhance the overall look of your barn, adding both practicality and aesthetic value.
Are Aluminum Dutch Doors Durable enough for Horses?
Yes, our Dutch doors are made from 1/8” thick aluminum tubing with fully welded seams for added strength. While they are extremely durable, we recommend adding a mesh screen door on the interior to protect the doors from wear and tear over time.
Are Window Grills Necessary for Dutch Doors?
While not essential, window grills can provide added protection for your livestock. All of our windows come with tempered glass, which breaks into small, harmless pieces if shattered. If budget or preference means skipping grills at first, you can always install them later with just a few screws.
How Long does it Take to Make and Ship Dutch Doors?
Our in-stock Dutch doors (4’x7′ and 4’x8′) can be ready to ship within 3-4 weeks after your order is confirmed. Custom sizes may have a longer lead time, depending on the complexity of the design.
